LAHORE: The surveying for Senate by-race on two seats from Punjab closed and the vote check is in progress on Thursday with commonplace Election Commissioner Zafar Iqbal Hussain as the Returning Officer.

Surveying proceeded from 9 am to 4 pm with no break at the Punjab Assembly fabricating which has been proclaimed the surveying station. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Walid Iqbal and PML-N's' Saud Majeed are challenging for the general Senate situate while PTI's' Seemee Ezdi and PML-N's' Saira Afzal Tarar are challenging for a held seat of lady.

These two senate seats from Punjab had fallen empty after Sadia Abbasi and Haroon Akhter Khan of the Pakistan Muslim League-N were denotified for holding double nationality. Upwards of 369 Members Punjab Assmebly (MPAs) will cast their votes out of an aggregate number of 371 while PTI and the partners have 194 votes when contrasted with 173 votes of the PML-N.

As indicated by the Provincial Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), the voters won't be permitted to convey cell phone or camera inside the surveying station while a voter must be in control of the first Punjab Assembly card to make the choice.
